I am specifically drawn to Klee’s angel pieces. They appear to not be the celestial kind but hybrid creatures with human characteristics. This contributes to my initial processes of creating characters, however I would start with a human base and distort that. Despite not yet creating simple drawings, Klee’s really interest me, and inspire me to consider this form of working. With it being a line drawing, there’s nothing hidden, these angels scream out innocence and cleanliness to me.
