Lucy Archer

Hi, my name is Lucy, I’m young artist from the North East of England and this is my practice.

I am currently studying towards a Fine Art degree at the University of Sunderland. At first, I had separated my hobby of designing tattoos and my university practice, however I have now combined each methodology together to create my work.

Despite my interest in painting is Abstraction/Expressionism, when designing tattoos I rely on illustrative skills to create mainly black and white dotwork/linework designs. From time to time, however, I do like to experiment with colour in my creations. But within both aspects of my work, I prefer to stick to a strange/abnormal theme.
