Experimenting with Media (Palette Knives and Pen)

After the third SPP Crit, I was inspired by Liz as she had used palette knives to apply paint. As id been using my hands to paint for the majority of this module, I decided to try something different and use knives to create the background of few pieces. I continued using a similar palette to what I used to the start of ART246. I drew and painted my interpretation of a Fury, a creature from Greek Myth. Due to the wild nature this beast supposedly had, I thought it would be a good subject for a more expressive style. I feel the paint worked better on the background as it was a bold contrast on the painted background, whereas the pen did not stand out very well.
