She had 3 approx A3 line drawings in black and white. Some were a simple outline, and another was again an outline but contained a lot more detail. The first two drawings, especially the first one, focuses a lot on the composition of the portrait. The lines just stop before reaching the edge of the paper, perhaps it was just to keep it central. However because of this, the lines feel trapped within the border of the paper. Whereas the third drawing, as the lines are pushing the boundaries I can imagine the cloud of ghouls continuing on around the room. Each drawing represents a feeling. The second one shows a panic attack. Ironically, the way the composition of the page is quite neat, whereas a panic attack is almost the opposite.

Stuart’s work is mostly based off the myth of the Green Man. It’s an English folktale about the spirit of the forest, which appears in famous tales such as King Arthur. One of his works is a performance piece, which involves him walking in a leaf suit around the studios and moving people’s work around. It seems he is interested possibly in a mischief/prank based methodology. The ‘disguise’ he is wearing looks very out of place in a city building, its defying the stereotype to have leaves in a place where the only trees around are in the books.
